HOCKLEY, Texas — The University of Texas women's golf team has a five-shot lead heading into the final round of the Big 12 Championship at the Clubs at Houston Oaks after round two on Thursday.
The Longhorns were one of two teams to shoot under par in the second round as they carded a one-under-par 283 and are one-over-par for the tournament. Houston is in second place at six-over-par and Iowa State is third at seven-over-par.
Freshman Farah O'Keefe made three birdies on her first nine holes and another three birdies on her second nine holes.
