Organizers for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are planning to provide 300,000 for the athletes taking part, according to Sky News' Rob Harris.
Harris said that averages out to around two per day for every athlete.
For those taking part, the Olympic experience this summer will be a marked contrast from how the Summer Games operated in Tokyo in 2021. Significant interpersonal restrictions remained in place then amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The accommodations may not be all that different, though. The same company that provided the cardboard beds in Tokyo supplied the bedding in Paris as well.
