Kentucky women’s tennis played its final match of the season on Thursday, April 18, ending with a 9-15 record (3-12 SEC).

The No. 4 Auburn Tigers swept the Wildcats 4-0 in the second round of the SEC Tournament.

The Cats, earning a No.12 seed in the conference tournament, were looking to capitalize on a first round victory.

They defeated No.13 Mississippi State 4-1 on April 17 and showed off with a quick match in Athens, Georgia.

However, Auburn had their number from the very beginning.

The only highlight of the day featured Zoe Hammond and Ellie Eades, who won their doubles match on court two.
