No. 3 Kentucky baseball (32-7 15-3 SEC) came up short in a decisive game three against No. 4 Tennessee (33-7 12-6 SEC) by a score of 13-11.
The loss marked the first SEC series loss for the Bat Cats.
“This was an example of us not executing at a high level on a pitching and defensive side,” Kentucky head coach Nick Mingione said.
