Joe Burrow wants to improve at protecting himself from injury; ‘addicted to getting better’

After missing the final seven games of the 2023 season with a wrist injury, Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow is back on the field throwing at OTA’s.

Injuries have been just about the only thing that have stopped Burrow during his NFL career as he suffered a torn ACL and MCL in 2020, dealt with a calf injury last season, and then injured his wrist.

The injury concerns have helped Burrow better understand his body and learn the steps to protect himself in the future.

“I’m going to be honest with myself about how my body is feeling, maybe a little more cautious than I have been in years past, so that’s kind of been something that’s been on my mind for the last couple of months,” Burrow told reporters on Tuesday.
